Drop/Adds ~ Tuition Refunds

Classes dropped before the first day of the semester receive a full refund of tuition and fees.     Classes dropped once the semester begins are subject to the 'Tuition Only' refund schedules below.  Refund period may vary based on length of Term.

August 21, 2017 - August 22, 2017 100%
August 23, 2017 - August 25, 2017 80%
August 28, 2017 - August 30, 2017 60%
August 31, 2017 - September 1, 2017 40%
   
FALL 2017  B TERM  TUITION AMOUNT REFUNDED
October 9, 2017 - October 10, 2017 100%
October 11, 2017 - October 13, 2017 80%
October 16, 2017 - October 18, 2017 60%
October 19, 2017 - October 20, 2017 40%

Refunds are for tuition only

 After regular registration when dropping or adding classes the following steps must be followed to complete the process:

  1. Take new schedule to Bursar's Office so approriate adjustment may be made to your student account if necessary.
  2. Go to Financial Aid Office to confirm financial aid.

It is extremely important that these steps are completed when making a change to your schedule.  Contact the Registrar in person/email if your account is on hold.  If you are unable to drop in person, please email the Registrar's office at  registrar@umhb.edu.

If a student is enrolled in the payment plan, please contact Tuition Management Systems to have your payments adjusted when dropping or adding hours. You may call Tuition Management Systems at 1-888-463-6994, or contact the Bursar's Office if you have questions.
